Background: Wonde
Wonde is a data platform that integrates with the school's MIS platform (e.g. SIMS, Bromcom etc.). Wonde syncs the school and pupil data and makes it available to Equipple to support the scheduling and preparation for parent-teacher meetings. Wonde is present in more than 30,000 schools and is a popular platform - enabling schools to deploy a range of applications with various benefits to the school. The school is always in charge of their data, and approvals must be given by the school admin to allow these applications access to the data.
Background: C2K Third Party User Request Form
C2K has a form that schools must complete In order to set up an external remote connection. C2K does not permit anyone outside of the school's network to access internal resources, so all forms of access are restricted.
The use and installation of Wonde are not restricted; however, access to the internal server for installing their software is limited. The C2K form is solely for granting Wonde the access needed to install their software on the school's internal network.
Completing the Form
There are three options available to install Wonde software. These options are:
- Install Wonde's software on an internal server (recommended)
- Install Wonde's software on any desktop machine in the school
- Self-installation of Wonde.
The decision about which option to choose ultimately lies with the school. Below we have provided instructions about how to complete the form depending on which option you choose.
None of these options will bypass any protocols, as schools can install software on their machines as they see fit. The Wonde support team is accustomed to offering all three options, and many schools have successfully completed self-installations.
Option 1: Install Wonde's software on an internal server (recommended)
- This option is recommended as it minimises potential errors since the server operates 24/7.
- Complete the C2K form with details of the internal server where the school wants to install Wonde. C2K will review the request and establish a secure remote connection through their platform, Pulse Secure.

Option 2: Install Wonde's software on any desktop machine in the school
- This option is not recommended because if the desktop machine is switched off, the connection will be disrupted, which could lead to issues that require support intervention.
- Fill out the C2K form with details of a desktop machine for Wonde installation. Similar to Option 1, C2K will review and set up a secure remote connection via Pulse Secure.

Option 3: Self-installation of Wonde
- The school can opt for a self-installation of Wonde. Wonde can provide you with a guide to follow, or you can call Wonde's support team for assistance during the installation process.
- If you would like to go for the self installation option, please call Wonde support on 01638 438 094 and inform them that you want to complete a self installation.
- If this option is chosen, a third party user request form is not needed, because remote access is not required.
If you are being asked to complete a C2K Third Party User Request Form, despite following the self-installation path, please contact support@equipple.com to discuss.
