If a parent's email address is not uploaded to Equipple, you won’t be able to send them an invitation to book a meeting. But don’t worry, the fix is quick and easy! Just follow the steps below to get them set up.
The Problem
In order for meeting invitations to be sent to parents, they must first have a correct email address in the system. All parent data is synced from your school's MIS platform (e.g. SIMS, Bromcom etc.). This means that if an email address is missing, it is likely to be missing from the source system (e.g. SIMS, Bromcom etc.)
Solution: Update the email addresses at source
- Equipple syncs with your MIS platform (e.g. SIMS, Bromcom etc.).
- Login to your MIS platform, and review the parent details to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
- Adding the parent's email address here will result in the email address being pulled through automatically to Equipple.
Note: Equipple looks for updates in your MIS platform every night. So please allow up to 24 hours before changes are reflected in Equipple.
