If you are a ‘Class Teacher’ and a Parent in your class did not receive an email invitation, you can also quickly send an SMS (text message) invitation directly to that parent using Equipple, just follow these simple instructions:
Please see this article which shows you how to check a Parent’s email address and resend the invitation via email. However, if you want to quickly send an SMS (text message), please continue reading.
Step 1
- From the Equipple ‘Home Screen’, you want to click the tab at the top bar which says ‘Schedule’.

Step 2
- You’ll be taken to the ‘Schedule Details’ page. From here, click the drop-down menu and select the Parent/Teacher meeting schedule you are preparing for and double check your class is in the next tab.

Step 3
- Click on the ‘Not Booked’ tab to begin finding the Parent of the child in your class.
- Alternatively, find their name using the search bar. A list of children and Parents/Guardians along with the meeting status will appear.

Step 4
- Click on the Parent you want to send an SMS (text message) invitation to.

Step 5
- A ‘Meeting Information’ pop-up tab will have opened. On the right-hand side, click the three dot icon.
- Click ‘Resend Invitation.’

If the mobile telephone number is incorrect or there is no mobile telephone number listed in the 'Meeting Information' pop-up tab as shown above (blurred section), you will need to report this to your Equipple 'School Admin' (usually SLT and/or Office staff). They will be able to update the system with the correct contact details.
Step 6
- A new pop-up tab will appear. Click the box ‘Via SMS.’

Step 7
- Another pop-up tab will open. Click on the mobile number so the box is highlighted.
- Click ‘Send Invite.’

- A green confirmation pop-up will appear confirming the SMS (text message) has been sent.

That Parent will now be able to book a meeting slot with you through the text message link. This is a quick and easy way to send invitations if required.
